Name: BrightStar
Age: 12 Moons
Gender: Female
Clan: MoonClan
Clan Position: Leader
Appearance: A white, gray, brown, and black she-cat with piercing yellow eyes.
Personality: Very prickly and aggressive. Shows true colors to cats she is close to- a gentle cat, but still a bit stinging.
Mate: None
Other: Became leader one day after becoming a warrior (Brighthawk), but former leader, SkyStar, and former deputy, Frostpelt, were sick with a disease that had spread through MoonClan. StarClan sent sign to medicine cat- a glowing hawk, signaling she should be the next leader, despite her age. Very close to brother, Bramblepelt.
Story: Brighthawk huddled out of the rain next to her brother in her den. She simply stared as the elders took SkyStar and Frostpelt's bodies out of the clearing. They looked much smaller dead, their bodies limp and helpless. She rose with a sigh. Spotnose, the medicine cat, had recieved a sign that she was to become leader, and Frostpelt had made her deputy in her last moments alive.
She padded into the clearing. Her clanmates looked at her through hollow, terrified eyes. The stench of sickness was still in the air, even though no more cats were sick, after EmberClan had brought herbs to help them.
She sighed again and walked over to Spotnose's den with her head down and her tail drooping. Then she felt a rush of anger towards herself as she saw her former denmates-the apprentices-looking at her with pity in their eyes. She straightened and ran over to Wedge Rocks. She yowled, and the cats of the clan-no, her clan-gathered beneath her.
"I'm leaving to go to the Moon Fall. I'll be back by tomorrow. Bramblepelt's in charge." she jumped off and turned to her brother, Bramblepelt.
He looked nervous. "Brighthawk, are you sure you don't want me to go with you? Some cats don't like it that I'm in charge and was only made a warrior yesterday."
Brighthawk shook her head. "Of course I'm sure. I'm the leader, they can't criticize me,"
Bramblepelt didn't look entirely convince, but he nodded. "Okay, but hurry back." He could obviously tell that she needed to be alone.
Brighthawk dipped her head and turned around to face the forest. After she left, it would never be the same. Ever.
