Name: Bramblepelt
Gender: Tom
Age: 12 Moons
Clan: MoonClan
Position Auditioning for: Deputy
Appearence: Brown tom with black flecks and a white belly and chest. Large yellow eyes.
Personality: Kind but unsure of himself.
Mate: None
Other: Brother to BrightStar
Audition Story: (THIS IS GOING OFF OF BRIGHTSTAR'S AUDITION, UNDER THE POINT OF VIEW OF BRAMBLEPELT, IF ALLOWED)
Bramblepelt watched his sister pad confidently out of camp, and felt nervousness claw at his belly. He walked over to a group of the apprentices, who were whispering fervently to one another. They stopped when he came near. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of frustration that the whole camp was talking about him and Brighthawk. He turned away from the apprentices and they began to chatter again.
He went over to Jaypelt, who was talking to Hailspot, a sharp-tounged queen. He expected them to be talking about him, but instead they were talking about the time the river flooded and destroyed all the herbs near the river.
"Er...Excuse me, Jaypelt? Could you lead the sunset patrol? If you don't mind. Brighthawk told me to arrange the patrols when gone." Bramblepelt meowed.
He thought he saw Jaypelt's whiskers twitch. "You know, Bramblepelt, the clan will follow your orders if the leader put you in charge. I'll get Daisyclaw, Silkpaw, and Yelloweyes to come with me, shall I?"
Bramblepelt almost shook with relief. "Thank you, Jaypelt."
Jaypelt dipped his head, and Bramblepelt was surprised at the show of respect from the older warrior. He returned it and Jaypelt began to walk off, but he stopped and looked over his shoulder. "Bramblepelt, you'll make a great deputy, and BrightStar will make a good leader." He walked away.
Bramblepelt was so excited. He had called his sister BrightStar instead of Brighthawk, and he had called him deputy!
Hailspot rested her tail on Bramblepelt's shoulder for a moment, then ran off to the nursery. Bramblepelt let out a sigh of relief. Maybe being a deputy, if his sister appointed that is, wouldn't be so hard after all.
